What would be the title of your autobiography? Someone asked me that, and I really thought about it—it seemed so critical, you know? (And so meaningful, even though I’m not writing one.) And I came up with: The Juggler.
Right? Because don’t we all have to juggle so many parts of our lives? Our families, our work, our personal passions? And yes indeed, it sometimes seems overwhelming.

Surveillance is like a screwdriver in a Private Investigator’s toolbox. It’s not as sexy as some of my other toys, but it gets eighty percent of many jobs done. It’s the tool you reach for most often. Much of my average work day is spent watching and/or following a party connected to the investigation du jour. If they do anything of relevance, I photograph or video them in the act. Sometimes I do both. I’m nothing if not thorough.
